Up-and-coming endurance MTB & gravel racer
Chris is a 23-year-old marathon mountain bike and gravel racer who juggles training and competing with college classes and a job as the operations manager of an active travel company. If there is a stereotype that younger racers tend to be better at shorter events, Chris does not fit that mold. After cutting his teeth in XC mountain bike racing starting in the NEHSCA high school league in New England, he has more recently turned his attention to what he loves most: long events. A 4th place at the 350-mile Unbound XL gravel, 5th at the Breck Epic MTB Stage race, a win at the Butte 100 MTB race, and the opportunity to represent the US at the Marathon MTB World Championships in 2022 solidified him as an up-and-coming force in the endurance realm. Watch out for him at gravel and mountain bike events in 2023 as he aims to return to the World Championships and targets wins at anything over 100 miles!
